Intake Forms –I will ask you to begin by filling out a lengthy document for new patients. This may take 10-30 minutes.
Contact Information — Please start by calling Vermont Natural Family Health at 802-352-9078. If your questions are not answered you will be directed to my direct line at 971-998-2196. If the phone call runs longer than 15 minutes, the call then becomes a phone consult, billed at $120/hour for the total call time. Rescheduling —If your period comes early or late and you find that you have your menses during your appointment time, still come to your appointment. I have discovered by experience that there is still benefit from the treatment, and I learn more about your health at this time. If all your appointments were scheduled during menses or in the 5 days before, that would be problematic. But if 1-2 treatments in a year happen during menses, that’s ok. If you need to reschedule for other reasons, please honour our 24-hour cancellation policy. There are many people waiting to be seen. Giving me less than 24 hours warning prevents me from seeing another patient who needs treatment, and obstructs the flow of money coming in to run our clinic. I will have to charge you $60 for a missed appointment. After 3 late cancels or missed appointments, I will charge you $125 thereafter.
Appointments: For the first appointment, I recommend 1.5-2 hours visit. The first appointment includes a health history review, some physical examination, 60 minutes of Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, self-care massage instruction, review of my findings with a detailed treatment plan.
PreNatal Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy appointments are 1 hour & 15 minutes for new patients and 1 hour for return patients.
Rates: I bill insurance for the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy as a Naturopathic visit with manual therapy. You may call my office at 802-352-9078 to for more information. If you don’t have health insurance, I provide a discount for paying for the service on the day it was provided. This is called a “time of service” discount, and I ask you to call my office to inquire about that rate.
