Bio

- Dr Wylie & her daughter Ruby Estelle
I am a naturopathic physician, midwife and mother. I blend the medicine of traditional healers (from Europe and the native Americas), with the knowledge of conventional medicine. By removing the obstacles to the proper flow of vital fluids within the body, and by promoting the drainage of wastes and toxins, health can be restored.
I am proud to live in Portland, Oregon. But I grew up in a 200-year old farmhouse 35 miles north of Times Square in New York State. I was fascinated by the story my elder neighbors told me how on clear days, they could watch the Brooklyn Bridge being built. One day I hope to return to the east coast. I miss the land which is so deeply imprinted into my psyche. I also feel that Portland has so much healing talent, and the east coast needs more healers. So, if you hear I’m moving, I have no plans to leave at this time. But someday…over the rainbow… way up high.

If I were to choose a different career, I would have started having children by 25 years of age, study Biodynamic Agriculture and be a farmer!
I feel blessed to work with women and children. My patients make going to work worth leaving my child in the care of others (part-time, of course). So if it takes a few days to get a response from me, it is because I am a mother first.
